What is Captain's Log?

Captain's Log® is the most widely used, comprehensive set of computerized cognitive training programs ever published. The software consists of 35 multi-level "brain-training" exercises designed to help develop and remediate attention, concentration, memory, eye-hand coordination, basic numeric concepts, problem solving-reasoning skills, self-esteem and self-control. It is used worldwide to help adults and children (Ages 6 and up) with ADHD, brain injuries, psychiatric disorders or learning disabilities gain the basic cognitive skills necessary for successful living and learning.

Captain's Log® has been in continuous use since 1985, and has a proven track record in a variety of therapeutic, school and home settings in all 50 states, US territories and 23 foreign countries.

Captain's Log Modules

The original Captain's Log® consists of six modules - Attention Skills: Developmental, Visual Motor Skills, Conceptual Skills, Numeric Concepts with Memory Skills, Attention Skills: The Next Generation, and the new Logic Skills module.  A new add-on, the Personal Trainer, makes building customized training protocols for the individual needs easier than ever! The contents of the updated modules will be similar to the original set, but will be greatly enriched and enhanced.

helps train basic reasoning, memory and perceptual discrimination.
trains basic mathematical concepts, memory, problem solving and organizational skills, and detailed reading comprehension.
is a continuation of Attention Skills: Developmental, and is designed to meet the needs of individuals able to work at higher levels.
consists of five engaging new programs which focus on higher level executive functioning - organization, categorization, pattern recognition, sequencing, and closure.
is a new companion to Captain's Log that gives you the power and flexibility to create customized, brain-training protocols for your clients. These protocols can be based on specific skill sets so that deficiencies may be targeted easily and quickly.
