Floataway's Technical Packs

Floataway's technical packs can be fitted to a variety of pool designs. We use our extensive experience to engenier the best system to meet your needs. Technical packs are built to meet the clients specification and requirments. There is no remote with the standard Technical pack, but it can be added. Technical packs are desinged to be fitted in a seperate pump room with a drained floor.

Technical Pack : fitted with REDOX metering, Desity Metering, PH Metering, Steralisation and PH liquid auto dosing, Water make up.

Standard Technical Pack for floatation pool TP1500:
Maximum Volume of Pool: 1500Lt

Pack consists of:-

• Installation instructions manual
• GRP chassis
• 50mm inlet pipe with tap/connector and 50mm outlet pipe with tap/connector
• 0.37KW Single phase mag-drive pump - roughly 100 Lt/Min on anti-vibration mounts
• Floataway's top loading minimum spill filter housing
• cartridge set
• filter closed detector
• control box, thermostat, timer, 12v power supply, pump run air switch, relay/SSR outputs
• 3kw external controlled heater with thermal protection
• flow detector
• temp probe in suction line
• max temp sensor in output line 45 degC set. (50 max allowed)
• drain down valve
• Inlet water detector and pump shut off circuit
• air hose and remote air sender (to switch pump)
• programmable timer to run the pump for fixed time sequence
• Over temperature water alarm output light and sounder
• low water alarm output light and sounder
• requires 20 amp supply via RCD and Isolator Switch
• all connected together on chassis - foot print 115 x 52 cm

Standard Technical Pack for floatation pool TP3000:

• 0.55KW Single phase mag-drive pump - roughly 150 Lt/Min on anti-vibration mounts
• Floataway's top loading minimum spill filter housing
• cartridge set
• filter closed detector
• control box, thermostat, timer, 12v power supply, pump run air switch, relay/SSR outputs
• 3kw external controlled heater with thermal protection (output 1)
• second 3kw external heater with thermal protection (output 2)
• flow detector

Upgrade Options The standard technical pack controls the temperature of the water and filter particles, if you require it to do more, you can add many Upgrade Options. These include: Full PRIDE water managment control, REDOX metering, Desity Metering, PH Metering, Steralisation liquid auto dosing, PH liquid stabaliser dosing, automatic Water make up, UV steralisation, Tablet Brominator Steralisation, Additional heaters.

Features Explained:

• Installation instructions manual:
  This contains everything that you will need to know about fitting and operating the unit.
• GRP Chassis:
  The technical pack comes assembled on a GRP chassis ready to go.
• 50mm inlet/outlet pipe with tap/connector:
  This is the size of the pipe that is used to connect to the tank, screw Unions.
• Mag drive pump on antivib mounts:
  The best pump for the job, totally separated from the electric motor, with the rotor being driven by magnets not a metal shaft. The pump is mounted on rubber mounts to reduce noise.
• Filter housing and connections:
  Floataway top entry filter system, means you have no wasted water when changing the filter. Standard size filter cartridges can be used.
• Filter closed detector:
  The Floataway filter system has a sensor to stop the pump if the filter is not closed correctly.
• Cartridge set:
  Starter pack of filters, 1x Washable, 4x Disposable, 1x Carbon filter, enough for instillation and about one* months operation. (*Depending on numbers of float sessions)
• Control box:
  thermostat, timer, 12v power supply, pump run air switch, relay/SSR outputs : All electrics come pre wired and tested, control box IP65 rated, mounted on chassis, gland entry for cables, wires mounted with drip prevention, displays temperature of incoming water (tank temp) mounted in lid of box. Audible and display alarm for over temperature.
• 3kw external controlled heater with thermal protection:
  The water is heated as it flows through the pipe system, 3Kw is ample for most float pools (depending on losses). The heater is fitted with it's own internal thermal protection.
  Note: The water is only heated while the pump is running, so you need more power to heat the water in time for the next floater if the pool is not pumped constantly.
• Second 3kw external fast warm up heater (output 2):
  If needed the system can increase the heating power by 100% to speed up the time to bring the tank to the correct temperature between float sessions.
• Flow detector:
  needed for pipe systems to prevent over heating and pump damage.
• Temp probe in suction line:
  Water is measured as it is sucked from the tank to give the most accurate reading.
• Max temp sensor in output line 45 C set. (50 max allowed):
  Stops the possibility of burns due to water exceeding 50 degC.
• Drain down valve:
  For draining system, a hose can be fitted.
• Low water alarm output light and sounder:
  The system detects the presence of water, inhibits the pump if the pipes run dry, this stops the possibility of over heating/pump damage due to running dry.
• Air hose and remote air sender (to switch pump):
  Total electrical isolation between the floater and the pump system.
• Programmable timer to stop pump for fixed time :
  This can be used to time a float session, at the end of the time, the pump will start. (as mentioned in the Control box)
• Requires 30 amp supply via 30mA RCD (not supplied) and isolator switch (not supplied).
