In the event that your child is having a hard time resting or having a relaxed time, there are high chances that they are suffering from ADHD. This is a hyperactivity disorder, that affects their attention and as a result they tend to get distracted so fast. Some of the signs that you will take note of include, the increased rate of impulsion or lack of attention to something that they were already interested in, all of a sudden.
It is also important for you to note, however, that some of these features are displayed by kids all the time, and extra attention should be paid before you can conclude that the kid is suffering from ADHD. In the event these features go on for more than half a year, then you have real cause for worry. A recent study has revealed that this usually affects around 5% of the American children, and is indeed a progressive problem which picks up initially in school, and then develops to the kid's relations with other people.
